Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

PubMesh is a digital media company and network of interest-led publications. This Privacy Policy applies to pubmesh.media, PubMesh-operated publications and newsletters, and PubMesh applications or integrations that link to this policy, including integrations with platforms such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn (the Services).

Information we process

Depending on the Service you use, we may process: information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, organisation, message content and newsletter preferences; limited technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser/device information, referral source, pages viewed and interaction events; consent and privacy-choice records; and platform information you explicitly authorise a connected service to provide to PubMesh.

For connected social or developer-platform applications, the exact data available depends on the permissions you approve and the platform API. This can include app-scoped user or account identifiers, Page or business-account identifiers, profile or organisation information made available by the platform, granted permissions, access-token metadata, publishing or analytics metadata and content necessary to provide the connected feature. PubMesh does not ask users for their Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn passwords.

How we use information

We process information to operate and secure the Services; provide requested integrations and connected-account functionality; authenticate authorised connections; publish or manage content when explicitly requested and permitted; deliver newsletters; respond to enquiries and rights requests; measure readership and campaign performance where permitted; prevent abuse; maintain audit and operational records; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use connected-platform data for unrelated purposes. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly use sensitive personal information for advertising targeting. Cross-publication behavioural profiling is off by default.

Cookies, analytics and consent

Essential functions may operate where necessary for security, service delivery and storing your privacy choice. Optional analytics, advertising and personalisation technologies are disabled by default until the relevant consent is given where our consent system applies. You can revisit your choices using the Privacy Choices control on PubMesh web surfaces.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, deliver email, operate databases, store media, provide infrastructure, or connect to platform APIs, but only as reasonably necessary for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Platform services such as Meta and LinkedIn separately process information under their own privacy policies when you use their products or authorise their APIs.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, legal and audit requirements. Connected-platform tokens and identifiers are retained only while needed for the authorised integration or until access is revoked or deletion is requested, subject to limited records we must retain for security, legal compliance or proof that a deletion request was fulfilled. Raw first-party web-event data is intended to be retained for no more than 13 months before deletion or aggregation/de-identification unless a shorter period applies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, obtain certain information in portable form, or opt out of legally defined sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Where legally required, PubMesh intends to honour a valid Global Privacy Control signal for the browser/device sending it.

To exercise a privacy right or ask us to delete connected-platform data, email privacy@pubmesh.media and identify the PubMesh service or connected account involved. We may request reasonable information to verify the request. You may also use the dedicated Data Deletion Instructions page at https://pubmesh.media/page/data-deletion/.

Security

We use technical and organisational safeguards including access controls, encrypted transport, secrets management, service isolation and logging appropriate to the Services. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

PubMesh's general Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly build advertising profiles about children.

International processing

PubMesh and its service providers may process information in more than one country. Where required, we use appropriate legal and contractual safeguards for international transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy as our Services, integrations, vendors or legal obligations change. The current version will remain publicly available at this URL.
