This page explains how any user can request deletion of personal data held by PubMesh, including information associated with PubMesh applications or integrations using Meta/Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn APIs.

Option 1 — email PubMesh

Send an email to privacy@pubmesh.media with the subject Data Deletion Request. Include enough information for us to identify the PubMesh Service or connected account involved, for example the email address used with PubMesh, the relevant publication, and the platform/account you connected. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting or disclosing account-linked information. We will not charge a fee merely for requesting deletion.

Option 2 — revoke platform access

You can also revoke the PubMesh application or integration from the relevant Meta/Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn account settings. Revoking platform access prevents future authorised API access but may not by itself delete information already lawfully stored by PubMesh, so use Option 1 if you also want stored PubMesh data deleted.

What we delete

After a verified request, PubMesh will delete or de-identify personal information and connected-platform data that is no longer required to provide the Service, including stored connected-account identifiers, access credentials/tokens and related account metadata where applicable. We will also instruct relevant service providers to delete covered data where required.

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, establish that a deletion request was completed, resolve disputes, or protect security. Where data cannot lawfully be deleted, we will explain the applicable reason when required.

Timing

We aim to process verified deletion requests without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law.
